Season Opening for Northern Hemisphere
The season for the northern hemisphere just started!
Please make sure to check your gear and safety releases before you go out again.
Don’t rush, take your time and if you have any questions, you can ask them all on the forum, you will get
help for sure!

Here few important reminders:
- Check your gear before you launch your kite: are the lines ok? Does the quick release work? Are the
Lines connected correctly? Do I have enough space downwind to launch?
- Train to release the quick release! Do it many times, so it will be a reflex if you need it. Also from the leash!
- Cold water can kill you. Wear appropriate wetsuits, never kite out far from shore, never go out alone
and if you have to swim in, think before if you can make it, otherwise swim to the kite and wait for help
- Know your limits. Wait with new tricks, don’t do it on the first day.

The 2009 Project
We keep mentioning a new project since a while. We are still working on it, since it is a major site which will
be a great tool for all of us. Beginning of May we will go into Beta testing it, and we assume the release of phase 1 will be
mid to end of May. Phase 2 will be a mobile version and released 1 month later.
