Yep, My stopper ball hasnt been holding for a while and I was meaning to replace it with the spare one that comes with the kite but realised I just dont use it as it was intended. I certainly cant cruise with the bar sitting on the stopper ball...it is always pulled in for more power. Bye bye ball!

Smooth ride - cool runnings

I agree with Si_B. It was the smooth riders that first got me into the sport. Not the skateboard-like tricksters. I respect the dudes at the top end for their co-ordination and skill. But, I still think spectators on the beach divert their attention to the smooth dudes carving it up, getting nice ai...

How do I get ready for Crossbow Bar Pressure

In the meantime, I'd like to lose a couple of kilos and get ready to deal with what might be a bit of extra upper body work due to the Crossbow bar pressure. My que...

Possible explanation

When I ordered my Crossbow, I heard that Cabrinha were completing a new entry level bow-kite aimed at the beginner and learner level. Apparently the Crossbow is aimed at a higher skill level and switchblade is for the new starter. That would also explain why you were told it is for kite schools.
