Re: My kites are lasting too long

Where I am (North of Mozambique), the life of a kite appears to depend mostly on age. That’s kind of ridiculous/impossible but that’s the way it appears. After about two years valves start coming off, whether the kite has been used little and takes well care of or a lot and left flapping on the bea...

Re: Core Pro Leash 2 - Free Your Style

Where can I get one in the US? Naish leash is too short. Mystic carabiner bent after only a few sessions.

Re: ranking surfboard construction Firewire/hydroflex/surfte

Still, I reckon I want my next one in Marko/Epoxy or Hydroflex. You can have both. Hydroflex has a new foam they call EFC (http://www.hydroflex-surfboards.com/hydroflex-technology/efc-surfboard-construction/index.php) which is closed cell, apparently developed with Marko but adapted to work with th...

Re: ranking surfboard construction Firewire/hydroflex/surfte

I think they are strapless kitings best kept secret! Real Watersports stock a few and they really rate them too. This is the only board I have ever had that I would not hesitate to recommend with no caveats! Mike I feel the same. I was pointed towards Hydroflex Supercharger/XXX construction and abs...

Re: Roberts Hydroflex "The Ill"

Thanks let me know how you like the Dump Truck. I finally got out on my Black Dump Truck yesterday. First, my setup: - 5' 9" - FCS MF-1 fins as a thruster to start, I also have a set of KR JP-5 to test next. - I put some air in the board (~ 2-3 psi) as the little flier that came with it suggests 1 ...

Re: Roberts Hydroflex "The Ill"

Anyone try these yet for strapless riding? Wondering if this is really a more durable surfboard that still feels lively and responsive. I hope to report back soon. I just picked up a 5' 9" Black Dump Truck in Hydroflex XXX/Supercharger. There isn't much on the internet on this construction for kiti...

Re: Naish Park 2013 quiver

Hi all! I got a naish park 2013 quiver (14-10-8) recently and I dislike two things about them. I have an universal naish bar and its depower system with a cleat is horrible, often gets stuck. The chicken loop has released four times trying unblock the depower line on the cleat. the naish´s dealer i...

Re: questions about niash park 2013

Thanks for all the feed back. Feeling very excited about kiting with the niash. Tautologies, I use a139 waroo its a big board but it helps with the lighter winds inland. Research that I have done on the park tells me that a number of settings are availabl, from light wind to strong wind so I'm sure...
