Re: My first long swim

The stuff of nightmares. I too agree, wrap the lines completely if you are self-rescuing to the kite. Or leave the like at full extension and swim in. If you have some wind cross on wind leaving the kite at will extension will slowly pull you in as you swim. Then if the wind pulls back up you can r...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

The largest version of the Spitfire for SUP and SURF foiling. This XXLW version was said to be 1300 sq cm area, which I guess is the total wing area of both wings. The XLW is 800 sq cm total - if I remember right? I'd like to know where the centre of lift of the Spitfires is - relative to the leadi...

Re: technique to run next to foil?

Looking to see if how to do this trick. It's seen in this video https://youtu.be/jpKr-soOFp0 Not really sure of the placement of the kite and the hand on the board. Is the rider looping the kite? Any tips would be great. Thanks I'm just guessing, but an intermediate step could be to just trail the ...

Re: AVS: Anti Ventilation skin By Zeeko

Did your development work with the Canard foil (front wing?) lead to the knowledge of how to create the AVS? Interesting observation and question. I think remember it being said the surface of the spitfire wings was mportant, and maybe different from some others. Perhaps they were experimenting bas...

Re: AVS: Anti Ventilation skin By Zeeko

WOW! That will take away a lot of my fear riding steeper waves. Increased comfort will add 3-5 knots to my max speed as well. Well done, ZEEKO. How much drag it costs? Does it works at any speed? Will you apply if for Spitfire wings? Tadeusz Dear Tadeusz, yes it works at any speed, but at 20knots o...

Re: AVS: Anti Ventilation skin By Zeeko

The 2018 windfoil is supplied with AVS.

At about 54 seconds, Nicolas seems to be gybing with the foil very near the surface.

Re: best SUP for super light wind kiting

Yes Ronnie, but this "proves" nothing at all really  Yes, of course you can ride a huge SUP foil in loads of wind and waves. But is it fun and balanced and the right tool ? IMO it is just like back in the days when Robby Naish did forward loops on a huge/long raceboard. We were all dazzled th...
