Leash: I believe were required last year and will likely be required again this year. not enough, it must be obligatory... and you know it. About tested quick releases, well just get in contact with the german kite surf throphy, they can tell you all about it, its easy. No more excuses- safety NOW!

Another promotion without obligatory kite leash?? Is that what you are saying?? No test on quick releases?

All freedom to get bystanders hurt?

With TV cameras and slow motion showing how some one dies? Will this help Kitesurfing?

Well, in your case it is easy: respect forces of nature so you won't get hurt , be carefull so no one else get hurt either and last not least: have fun.

Safety has a long way still to go in Florida given the common lack of helmets, parking of kites in lofting position, lack of adequate buffer zones, etc..
