Re: LF Solo 6.5m any one using it?

I disagree. That problem might exists for the Solo, but the North Mono is a fine tuned machine. I have a 12m Mono and I can use it starting in 9-10 knots at 85kg and I was out in 25knots the other day and it was rock solid. Best kite i have used in a long long time. It does everything well. Makes s...

Re: LP Foil Review

:thumb: Thanks Stefan :) I was playing around with shims and got to this same conclusion . With white shim I have to correct balance all the time (front or back foot pressure). Now I have a red shim and it is better . I like to have more pressure on the front foot...more pitch stable. Will try blue o...

Re: Preferred kite for light wind hydrofoiling

No, must say that around here noone uses 14 or 15m2 LEI kites, no matter if light, way too clumsy and almost useless.... 12m2 max, and if more is needed, it is only foilkites no matter if freerider or racer :thumb: If average weight 75-80 kg that is. So 10-12m2 LEI is my choice in 9 knots (got an 11...

Re: LF Solo 6.5m any one using it?

I can get this kite for a deal and am thinking of adding it to my quiver for a high wind days. Is any one using it? What are people's thought. I currently have a 9,12 SS rally's and 17 turbine. Super fun kite but it's not a "high" wind kite unless you are a big guy (200+ lbs) . Single strut kites l...

I just got new LP foil with the smaller wing and try to find good balanced stance.
What shim are you using for the rear wing ?
Blue, white wasn't even, balance was very rear footed with white..... but it may vary depending on board and foot strap position. :thumb:

Re: LP Foil Review

I would definitely do the opposite, the short mast for really light wind freeride, and the long one for waves :thumb: 8) PF i also prefer for sure a shorter mast in waves, 90 cm so far, i really want to try 60cm as someone else on here has said its better 100cm+ for strapped free riding It is pure ...

Re: LP Foil Review

hey stefan, how are wainmans for foiling wainmans were my first kites, kind of miss them, wondering how they work on a foil now and what wind range one could expect I think one thing that would make them good is the huge de-power, short throw., Wainman's have great range at the top end. One thing t...

It's a very different wing and it's a couple hundred more.
