Re: Moses 580 wing vs 558 wing

Thanks Frank.

Have you tried last years 580 race wing? I see on the specs that it is only 9mm thick as opposed to 12mm on the 558 wing. Would this be risky for jumping?

Can you tell me how the ride would change with a different stabilizer?

Thanks in advance.

Moses 580 wing vs 558 wing

Hi Guys: I am looking to upgrade from a 548/330. Last year, I believe the 580 was their race wing. This year it seems to have been replaced by the 600, which looks full on comp/race. They call the new 558 wing "All-Around". I have no interest in competition, just want to go faster. I like to jump an...

Ozone Edge II for one kite quiver

I'm looking for some feedback on the low end for Ozones. Could I get away with just a 9m and a directional for those light wind days (14-16knots)? I'm about 75kg and use a small TT when the winds pick up. I'm not concerned about the upper end on these, just wondering how the low end compares to some...

Tech Question re: Front Tow-Point attachment

I have recently noticed some posters claiming the bar pressure is less when the front lines are attached to the forward settings at the kite. I have always been of the belief that the bar pressure would be less when attached to the forward rear pigtails because that would shift the pivot point of th...

Again, every year more new places pop up in La Ventana. If going with others, I would rent a house, see http://www.laventanarentals.com/ I just saw another website, http://www.kurtnmarina.com/ that looks very nice. Also there are the older establishments: Ventana windsurf, very nice, Baja Joe, Sheld...

I've been going down to both spots since the late 80's and have spent quite a bit of time at each. As far as kiting goes, you will get more wind at La Ventana. Over an average 2 week period, LB might get 2 to4 really good days and 5 midiocre days while LV might get 9 really good days and 4 midiocre ...
