Re: Trainer kites - Worth it or not?

Trainers are fun even after you've been kiting a while. Kids love them, and in strong winds they're fun to fly at the park when you can't get to the beach.

South Padre is safe and can be inexpensive depending on when you go.

Re: South Padre Island Texas?

South Padre is great when the wind is blowing, lots of shallow flat water in the bay. A lot of people also do downwinders on the ocean side. I've been down there a few times in the past couple of years; I've never gotten completely skunked on a trip but it has been iffy at times. Sometimes it'll be ...

Altering quotes and passing them off as the original is highly unprofessional, perhaps even dishonest. Shame on you Gumball. North Wind What do you mean "perhaps" even dishonest? There's no perhaps about it. The worst part is, the quote was fine as is, changing it makes the company looks like it la...

I'd be happy to pay shipping plus a nominal amount for your time and effort in packing and shipping it - doesn't have ...

I had a great time learning at the Vela in Aruba last year: http://www.velawindsurf.com/aruba/kitesurfing.html My instructors, Mike and Mo, were really great, not just knowledgeable but fun and enthusiastic. The only downside was bows hadn't come out yet :(. But this year they're using all bows :). ...

Go for a bow, definitely. I'm a beginner - took lessons on C kites last summer. They were uncomfortable (got pulled a lot in gusts) and hard and time-consuming to relaunch. My instructors at the time were raving about the new Crossbow coming out that season (they had one preproduction model), and I ...

I've ordered things from killerdana twice, once last august and once in february this year, no problem either time - got order confirmation and then tracking info automatically.
