Ozone Edge 2010 9m jumping when powered

hi, do any of you really master the kite-flying with the 2010 9m edge when it's fully lit? i do get all the way up there no problem, but that's where things get nasty. on the slow vertical descent i pick up speed horizontally. the landings are really hard and and so fast that i'm scared of trying an...

Eastcoast Australia february-march what kitesizes to bring?

Hi, i'm planning a trip to the australian eastcoast, starting from sydney and working my way towards brisbane and see where it's taking me from there - i'll start early february and will stay till the end of march. due to the new luggage fees on the cheap airlines i'm extremely limited regarding my ...

Re: Flysurfer's new open-celled Outlaw, with Total Depower System

i've had a quick session where i used the 8m outlaw back to back with the pulse2 (same size). wind was pretty gusty from 12-25knots. impressions: -the kites feel pretty similar. -the outlaw's a bit more stable when parked at 11 or 1 o'clock and gusts and lulls try to stall it. -the pulse feels a bit...

additional to the good description above, i'd recommend that after you've mastered the low powered hooked in moves, you'll grab all your courage and try it unhooked. usually, everyone likes the unhooked kiteloops a lot more - but it takes more balls to try them at first - the big advatntage is that ...

i disagree.
during courses, the board is a bit too loose for the students.

but it is by far the best lightwind (twintip) board i ever used.

the size scares you at first, but if you're into lightwind kiting, you should give it a try.

my choice would be the neilpryde npx 5000 or, if warmer is needed, the apex 5000.

but you shoud try a few wetsuits in a good shop and see what fits you best.

well, the cable pulls you around. when you wish, you pass the cable to the left (or right) and then start edging, riding to the right (or left). speed increases, load in the line increases and you edge harder. shortly after you've passed the cable edge really hard (maximum load on the line) and kick...

it looks like there's ab bit of a mixup between the SB and the SBII . judging from the pics of the original post, it looks like a SB. i've used this kite in courses in the 06 season. and broke quite a few in a quite similar manner. they were sewn in a wrong manner, holes too close to each other, thu...

that's the problem with any mutant board: either it rides so bad backwards that you rather go toeside or jibe, or it rides backwards well enough, but when riding forward it doesn't feel like a directional but like a regular TT with fins too big. to jibe a >140cm board ... tough job, especially with ...
