Re: Channels on a surfboards

Hej Plummet, Everything is anecdotal. no one has any science. I've noticed the boards I've made with Evo like bottoms cut through chop smoother, less slamming. They seem to float over the water when flattened out going fast on a reach and transitioning into a turn. I've found them to be really quick...

1. If you have real and big waves and want to ride them, pointy , curvey board . That said, there are some stubbies that are designed to work in those conditions 2. I'm 50+ hours and a year into the journey. Get more board speed. Point your knees forward. And All the vets here told me to keep practicing, it's true it takes more hours than other sports. I'm getting my carves / gybes nailed now and it's hard to believe that it now is clicking and feeling the flow...

Yes, you could claim the company need to protect it with patents, but it's still unethical. It's bad for the originator and the company producing. It's a loose -loose equation. S...

Re: Board Blank density

Yes, I'll have unidirectional-carbon-fibre running from tail to tip, on top and bottom of board.
Idea is to create a sandwich beam.
Glass fiber at 0 and 90 degrees, using twill or plain weave.
My thinking was option 3 would give strongest beam compared to option 1.
