Re: Lacking Knowledge: Studying kitesurfing

Juliane,

What are you trying to do? Map out the user journey of a beginner kitesurfer?
The user journey of an experienced kitesurfer?

Also, what demographic? A young person with limited money and a lot of time will not have same journey as 40+ with money and no time.

You can PM me.

Re: Pocket board building

I bought some big heads. and I've done some sketching of the section and I think you still have to drill out a 20mm diameter hole, plug it with epoxy, then embed the bighead into that plug.
Otherwise you risk pulling the insert through the top lam buy screw/ compression force.

Re: Moses 2019

I've had some sublime sessions on the 633 and Sonic 2, 13m in 8-10 knots. I know this is not considered light wind by many, but being able to go anywhere and do 35km/hr in 10 knots is mind-blowing. Having a blast when in the past would have been skunked.

Now that I am 100% flying and not falling in for 30 min at a time, im ready for new challenge in addition to learning new transitions this coming season.

Seat harnesses have to be very well padded around the leg straps also very thick or it will be very...uncomfortable..
Of course everything is individual. But this is not the case for me with Dakine seat harness. its very minimal . I always have at least 1,5mm or more wetsuit on.

Re: Moses 2019

it has 683 span ?? it must be much less agile than the 590. Then i dont understand the point. the 633 is slower yes, but is way more agile than the 590, making it more fun. what you are after is a fast wing and 633 type wing on the same fuselage ? I agree its an expense to have the extra fuselage, b...
