Re: Tuning an Ozone hyperlink

Thanks people. I'll do general check and bring spares that are included with the kite. I'll bring some spare thin lifeline as emergency repair for bridles too.

Re: Self Landing Foilkites in 20+kts

I have constantly problems getting lei kiters to understand. " Grab the tip" I say. They say "whats the tip ? " I say :" see that Black part of the kite? That the tip" they say :" where's the tip?" I try to explain" the end of the kite, the tip. The black part" . It seems they don't know what parts ...

Re: Foilers vs Kiters proportion now

There's some guys in their 20's and 30's here. Some in 40's and 50's too. I'm 59 soon but hope to foil well into my 60's. Demographic is getting wider.
I keep telling people to sell their big 14- 15-17m kites and get a foil.

Re: MOSES 590 good for what?

I have both and the 550 and had the 548. The 590 is faster for sure. It is fairly forgiving. The 633 is significantly slower minimum speed and stability, but is actually more agile. It has about 5km/he slower cruising speed. I'd get the 633 first, then try the 550 or even the freerace wing (637) as ...

Tuning an Ozone hyperlink

Ok, I think I have close to 60 hrs on my Hyperlink 9m UL. I have not checked anything. It flys like it did out of the bag new. I'm going to Brazil for 2 weeks and wondering if I should tinker with it or just leave it until I get back. If I leave it will it suddenly get bad or will it be gradually ge...

Re: Moses Onda 633 vs Liquid Force Impulse foil

Question:

Do the Impulse wings fit on the original alloy fuselage of the LF foil fish ?
A friend of mine is thinking of this upgrade.

Re: Moses Onda 633 vs Liquid Force Impulse foil

The LF impulse is super stable. The Moses requires more skill. But I came from 550-590 wing progression ( difficult to easier). The wrong way.
So I thought Moses onda was very very easy. The LF is as big a step to Onda 633 as from the 550 to 633( onda) !

Re: Moses Onda 633 vs Liquid Force Impulse foil

Don't know where stab was. But it was standard mast, like 90-95cm .
My friend said he felt Moses was faster and was way more agile.

It's not personal bias.
The Moses is like another category of agility. Huge difference.
Like a mini Cooper and a full size sedan difference.
