Re: Strappless or Strapped for Learning to Foil ??

I have looked through most if not all the posts mentioning the foot hooks, I bought a set of these when they first came out, and used them for 3 sessions. then unscrewed them and sold them on. the reason was two very scary situations when the bar got trapped in the hooks during big wind chop water ...

Re: Advice from an older married kiter to a young one

Pretty good advice. I've been married 32 years and was windsurfing nut when I met my wife 34 years ago. So she didn't get a surprise. We have common interests, and only one very late child, now 13 yrs. ( which is a help actually). Primarily it's my wife that deserves the cred for putting up with me,...

Re: Tube vs Softkite - an epic battle?

...Why do people insist on being on a very unpopular kite...only 4 % worldwide use them because foils: - kick ass staying in the air in the lightest of the winds and you need to be able to race in 3 m/s - they go upwind like mad (but also high AR is a big factor in that too) - they don't leave you ...

bridle line types: Ozone -Flysurfer

I have a Ozone Hyperlink UL and a Flysurfer Sonic 2. The bridle lines are different. Are the Ozone one sheathed and the Flysurfer not ? Is that what it is ? What´s the advantage/disadvantages of each ? ( i like the feeling of the Ozone ones- they seem more robust) Do all (closed cell)Ozone kites hav...

NorCal is right. Epoxy can stick to HDPE.
Usually you have to "flame it" to et it to stick, but it might stick anyway.
