Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

Thanks Jakemoore! Understand.

Self launch seems straight forward once I practice a bit. Self landing seems sketchy.
Any tips?

Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

Hudstur, Again, I'm not experienced, but after all this discussion....I can give you my uninformed 2cents Famousfrank has quiver of 5-7-9 Hyperlink, then he jumps to a 15 or 17m R1V2. I think his comment is back in early part of the thread. He's using short lines aggressively on the big kite...Hf on...

Re: Top speed of a Moses 633 SUP wing combo (the Onda)

Yesterday it was 14-15 knots. Our normal 0,5 m chop and swell. It was a great session on my 9m Mono perfect power, sometimes a bit light. I had put on the 550 after several sessions on the 590. I gotta say the 550 wing is magic for me. I'm getting better at foiling, and I seem to be able to go slowe...

Re: My next board design.

Think about those tips with sharp corners. Look at what they are doing when you ride.

Re: I need convincing

I haven't done any research, but Audi is showing a large injected CF part as part of a dashboard on a concept vehicle. It's mostly an aesthetic experiment. This " new" CF injection molding is just further development of the fiber reinforced thermoplastic injection molding done for over 40 years. In ...

Re: North Pro Session Surf chop

I'm 5-8 and 75-80 kg. I ride in chop and windwaves, and make my own boards after riding slingshot celeritas and space pickle for 3 years. My favourite board is a Tomo Evo typ shape 4-10 x 18 3/4" with 13 liters volume. It has concave deck and is thin in the middle with quad concave bottom. Quads wor...

Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

Re: How to build a bar? Just the rod/pole item ~60cm. Anyone done it?

I started making it with the mindset that there can't be that much force on it. Then I thought of the situation where I might get an unintentional centerline ( power line) release. Meaning the Cl will snap up at high force. If that happens, it's going to fly out of my hands for sure onto the leash.
