So as a conclusion: does de 07 Waroo turn faster or slower then the previous version? How does the turning behavior change when the rear pulley is removed? It also depends on the bar. The 06 45cm waroo bar is 45cm between lines. The 07 45cm waroo bar is 42cm between lines. To really compare, you sh...

Re: another question..

Hi there, just curious if the waroo sits also on the edge of the window waiting for the rider when problems? (comparable to x-bows) Wanna use it for snow-kiting and that´d be a helpful thing for self-starting sorry this has nothing to do with the turningspeed, didn´t want to open ne...

I got one and am quite happy with it. Not the best board I have tried, but excellent in relation to the price. It is probably worth changing the screws with stainless ones. I find my CF has quite a bit of flex, making it comfortable to ride, a very flat rocker (which gives it speed, but makes it not...

Between the 7 and the 9, I do prefer the 9. That does not make the 7 a bad kite in any way, it's just that the 9 is so wonderfully smooth.
So probably I would go for the 9 as the main kite, and the 5 for nuking winds.

those settings look VERY different: the first photo has a pulley on the LE (probably leads to higher bar pressure), and a split back line. The second photo has neither.

Not just a pigtail choice, like post 3 says

Probably the rebel...

Anyway, I personally think that at some point fast turning becomes too fast, and the kite becomes too unforgiving, let's say.

number of struts, informed opinions only please

1. What are the pros and cons of more/fewer struts?

2. Should a good design minimise the number of struts?

3. Given a model, shouldn't the number of struts be reduced in the smaller sizes?

4. What are the pros and cons of an even number of struts, versus odd?

CAKiter, what you are experiencing is pretty common. Kite power increases with speed, so in a gust you need to slow down. This is usually accomplished by pushing with your heels, and putting the board perpendicular to the direction of travel (as if you were snowboarding and wanted to stop dead). It ...
