You don't need 5 lines on a bow kite. 4 is plenty and some only have three (Sof-X UFO).

Yes, the type wave is by far the fastest kite on the market.. No other kite comes close to it.

I have done all that was recommended plus I have also reduced my chicken loop rope to about 7 inchs and made a new knot about 1/3 the way up on the large pig tails (back lines) Sweeeeeeeet :) Its now awsome for loads of unhooking which is were its at for me and this kite rocks. :thumb: You say 1/3 ...

I have a Flexifoil Ion with a simple bridle on the kite, and that has never tangeled or in any way been in the way. I would surely never treat it for a 5th line, which is more complicated to set up, and it can split the kite in two if it rolls in a wave.. As for safety, the Ion kite has a green line...
