Hey Dan,
I was there in CR when those shots were taken, definitely big winds I could barely hold down a 5 when you were going huge on that 7. cool video too!
I'll be in OBX next week 18-25 let me know if you'll be around.

I had a slow leak in my LE bladder which was driving me crazy, so I finally pulled the bladder out and couldn't find the leak by spraying the whole thing with soapy water so I poured about a half liter of warm soapy water INSIDE the partially inflated bladder, shook it around and carefully went over...

is it OK to use aquaseal as a bladder glue?
I need to repair a 3cm blowout not on a seam, and was going to use a piece of old bladder as a patch stuck on with aquaseal.

kitezilla, I have always tied bowlines in my qline, they are not recomended by the manufacturer, but I never had one break and they are easy to untie to make up for the line stretch which I agree does occur. the double figure eight is what the manufacturer wants you to use but I doubt you will get t...

what about kites stored in an unheated garage? It can get down to zero F here. thanks no problem. I store my kites in unheated storage, it can be as cold as -40C=-40F. I use my kites about -15C=5F, could use even colder, but chill factor makes it too cold for me. and luckily winds are normally too ...
