I had a Cabo before I got E4 and then E5, probably 2014.
I don't see anything else on the market today.
Have you got a chance to fly RRD's Religion MK8? It looks very similar to the Switch E5.

Re: Beginner kites with the best safety systems?

I'm looking for kites (not C) with quick release systems that releases on one line instead of two lines. Are you sure almost all changed to single frontline QR? As of 2016 every major brand except for F-One and RRD had a SLF safety. For 2018 both RRD (Global V8) and F-One (Linx) now have a SLF safe...

Re: RE vs C1

Has anyone used both the RE & C1 and can offer an opinion on why they would buy one over the other. ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFBhHA_0Avs Please know that you're comparing apples to oranges. So to answer your question, one would buy the RE if they want maximum support with little to no harn...

Re: Choosing an Impact vest ?

Obviously something that's thin and grippy where my harness clips on but where it needs to protect my ribs, I want something that doesn't follow the same curvature of my ribs. Like a laminated composite board uses laminations in different directions, I want an impact vest that has it's motion creas...

Re: New Takoon SynapS Bar with unique quick release

What's different here is the hand holding the line is not having to push up the release sleeve and then reset the lock-pin before letting the release sleeve slide back. Just like mentioned above, it's simply plug in and go, just like a seatbelt. Go to 0:54 in the vid to see this exact action. Here ...

Re: New Takoon SynapS Bar with unique quick release

One hand? I see 2 hands used in the video. One hand is required to hold onto the line (line as in depower line/swivel/release sleeve) and the other hand is plugging in the CL. If you aren't holding the line, it's equivalent to plugging into a loose cord. E.g. Just like trying to plug an electric to...

Re: New Takoon SynapS Bar with unique quick release

Unique quick release? The only unique feature that I see with this bar is the ability to reload the CL with only one hand (0:48 in the vid). I also like that when the CL opens, the lock-pin folds inward like on North's Iron Heart, eliminating the possibility of an injury from an exposed lock-...

Re: North Click Bar Official Unofficial Thread

Re: best SUP for super light wind kiting

Hi guys Has anybody actually pulled a SUP on a kite ? I'd love to hear from him or her, because I'd love to do it myself next summer with my Bic Windsup, but there are some who don't recommend it . I contacted Ozone in England to find out about their distributors in Canada or USA. Somebody replied ...

Re: Which helmet?

While we're talking helmets, does anybody have any experience using impact absorbing urethane protection? Stuff like this http://2ndskull.com/company-product/cap/?color=Black and this http://www.xrd.tech/howitworks/index.aspx The technology sounds promising but the marketing is a bit dodgy. I am fa...
