Re: Duotone Click bar red stopper ball removal ?

My understanding is that the red ball is there to prevent the bar from going further than necessary towards the kite when you eject to the safety line. Seems like you might have more potential for line tangles the closer that the bar gets to the kite, but I don't otherwise see an issue with removing...

Re: Splitboard twintip packing strategies?
Do you use compression bags for the kites?
No, I just fold them to fit the bag dimensions. Separately, if you look at the pics of the bag, the "top" compartment has two zippered sections, with a thin piece of nylon fabric separating them. You have to take out that piece so that you...

Just be patient. You will progress and find yourself an intermediate girlfriend in some years.

Re: Splitboard twintip packing strategies?

I use this bag from Dakine. Splits into two sections and I put the board and one kite on one side, and a second kite, pump, harness, bars and accessories on the other side. Total weight usually comes in between 45 and 50lbs, depending on how many accessories you jam in there. We have two of these se...

Evo vs Pivot bar pressure

Has anyone ridden both for 2020, or at least recent versions, and can compare the bar pressure?

Thanks.

Re: Used gear in Cumbuco?

I was in Cumbuco a month ago. You can rent boards at Kite Cabana. The rate for a surfboard was 60 Reals/day, which is maybe 11 pounds. A twintip might be slightly cheaper.

Re: Nobile Infinity Split board: foam cover comes off partially

it would be great to hear from Nobile if there addressed issue for this board in 2019 model. After my trip to cape verde with NHP split I was looking forward to add wave/foil split board as packing everything to Nobile check in in luggage it very convenient but due to the above I'm putting this dec...

Re: Looking for some drysuit repair advice..

I would pull the aqua seal off (probably not easy) so that you have a smooth surface, then use tear-aid type A to cover the areas with leaks. I had an old drysuit that the waterproof membrane started to deteriorate in a few areas, and that worked really well.

Re: Duotone Rebel 2019

Anyone have experience with both the new, 4 line Rebel, and the old Fuse, and if so, do they feel similar? I had a quiver of Fuses and loved them. Kinda wondering if they didn't use the last Fuse model as a starting point for the new Rebel.

Re: Prodigy??

I'm in the middle of converting my quiver. Coming from 7/10/12/16 Fuse. Before that I had 8/10/14 Rise. I've already bought 7 and 9.5 Prodigy (really looking forward to these for my Gorge/OR coast trip next month). On the upper end, I'm deciding between 12 Prodigy and 14.5 Flite (which I think will ...
