Re: Turks and Caicos

Just back from a week in the Turks. Wind was 20 mph every day. Great fun. Took a lesson with Hunter Viator from TCK kiteboarding on the Wing Foiling. Great location to learn but also fun side trips to down winders, etc. Great European foods. Grace Bay car rentals are a good joint. The crime is betwe...

Re: Oldest kite surfer in the world

I think Paul Watson at 90 YO might have you guys beat. Paul recently kited with me in the Stuart, FL area with a 14 m OR kite. I'll have to check with him about his next kite trip. We started kiting together when the kites went from 2 lines to the safe 4 liner kites. Bravo Cabrinha for making a "saf...

Re: Aging and Kiting (and Related Considerations)

Not sure you fellas have seen my earlier post about "The oldest kiteboarder in the world?" The fellow is 90 YO and besides kiteboarding he is an avid tennis player playing 3 times/week with golf thrown in. Suggest you keep active with mind and body. Look into anti-aging medicine as the results are i...

Oldest Kiteboarder in the World

I just went kiteboarding with the oldest kiteboarder in the world. Paul Watson and I started kiting in 2000 when Cabrinha kites went from 2 lines to 4 lines and invented a "safe kite." Paul DOB: Feb. 1, 1932. Kited Stuart's Indian River today on 14.4 Ocean Rodeo Aluua with North Twin Tip. Unfortunat...

Re: Alaia: Seaglass Tuna 6'2 Review

Not familiar with these boards. But love my Paipo with fins and my Axis New wave strapless.
FYI both fun rides. Remember kiting is a "board sports."
