for unhooked freestyle tricks you need to be correctly powered. Sure I can hang onto a 12m in 25kts but I cant bust a back mobe in those conditions at least not more than 1.

ok thanks guys. I wanted a 11 over a 12 as I was guessing I would only get 1-2 kts of more low end performance from the 12, but would loose a fair bit of top end over the 11.

My wind ranges tend to be 15-25kts.

I am talking about bar pressure when hooked in. Even though the hadlows had a short bar throw, I felt when I went to unhook (so the bar going from stopper ball to fully powered) that is where there is a lot of pressure. when riding my fuel the bar position makes almost no difference to power in kite.
