kolpamorta, I just took a gauge from an Ocean Rodeo pump and it screwed into the North pump just fine. Screwed the OR gauge into a Mystic pump, then a WMFG as well. Maybe Duotone's is just different. I mean, they already have a valve that requires a proprietary (and unnecessary, imho) adaptor to wo...
I have 2019 Dutone pump which look almost the same but it wont fit. North pressure gauge have more narrow connector at the bottom.Other pumps also have more wider connector at the bottom for pressure gauge. Will see with North if only that part is available cause DT sells it separately.
I have a 2021 orbit and weigh 77 Kg. The kite hates low wind. I’ll be pumping my kite while my friend’s pivots are flying normally at 22 knots sustained. I’d say the kite needs 23 knots sustained to not have to pump the kite for my weight. I’ll use it for 23-35 knots. If true wind was over 35 knots...
I am using Mystic Volt which is their top of the line wetsuite. So far so, good for me.Very warm for cold days, frontzip takes time to adopt when you came from backzip but it has great advantages: less water leak into wetsuite, feel compact.Zipper could be bigger and more robust because this one is p...
I just bought the orbit 22 9m to see what they are all about. Seems ok but there does seem to be flat spots in in the flight on them. If you lower the kite to much it doesn’t pull like others do and takes a second or to to regain power once put back to a place where it will gain power. Not had that...
I am considering of buying North 2022 kites. I am 85kg up to 90kg varying in weight.Coming from 9/13 m2 Rebels and wanting to cover range from 12/13knots up to 30-35 with 2 kites. Rebels serves me well in that way through years. I am considering Reach 13M2 for bigger kite and maybe Orbit 9m2 for hig...
