Re: Cabrinha FX 2018- Good for waves?

Yes ,without any doubt , it is super stable , it drifts ok and slacks lines perfectly , it's also fast turning in small sizes,low/med bar pressure and good feedback . I use it for the same purpose you named in big sizes ... Only cons ,should be for downloop /kiteloops drifts as the kite it pulls har...

Re: Switch Element5 vs Cabrinha Drifter

Thanks for the info guys , that's what i was guessing about the Cab... In the Med sea conditions i usually ride , side on beachbreaks and few cleaner points of hip to shoulder high waves in mid/high teens windrange, not that i need this amount of drift , but something more " slashy" and grunty with ...

Switch Element5 vs Cabrinha Drifter

Hello , i'm considering both kites in bigger sizes, asking for some feedback as not possible to try at my spot . I weight 90 kg+ , experienced, mostly on surfboards strapless/ed I know the turning and drifting potential of both kites , but want to compare them in terms of low end, upwind ,and freerid...

Re: 2017 Cabrinha Surfboards Fin Sets

Fin system it's the first thing i look at , when purchasing a new directional board , i stick to Futures and have some aftermarket sets to Play with . Even if i like a new board so much ,if it doesn't comes with Futures in my case ( or FCS , a global standar surf fin system) i don't consider buying ...

Re: Cabrinha kite with ozone bar

I actually use this setup , cabrinha FX 14m on my 55 Ozone bar . It works perfect , just change pigtails on the kite ,front to rears and rears in front in order to make It compatible with Ozone lines end ( knot rears , loop fronts) Once done the mod , i fly mine with front lines attached to the pigt...

Re: foil kites vs inflatable racing kites for racing + foil boards vs race boards?

Ozone Edge 17m + Sector 60 , more than enough for LW ,if you're not into races. In this combo i can keep on with mates on foilboards and 12m kites. Even riding the most efficient boards All LEI kites have the same low end limit ,it's an structural limit, defined by weight ,once you stop or fail a ji...

Re: What was your "Holy shit, why didn't I start doing this sooner?"

Not that i have a landboard , but tried it on my bi directional long with a small open cell Kite with shortened lines down to 4m , it was fun but no spots to do it right ,and kind of messing things a bit , but agree that new high AR foils should be the ticket for landboarding . Would like to get one...

Re: What was your "Holy shit, why didn't I start doing this sooner?"

It's Downhill, basically a run down a hill road as fast as possible ...when in freeride mode, top riders looks like snowboarding in concrete [youtubehttps://m.youtube.com/watch?list=FLKVoy3EsE5SB87F-uEiCC1w&v=KFljAplE5wE[/youtube] Also there are more technical rides/races where drifting or sliding i...
