I fly my Fluid Torque 10 with a Turbo-diesel 24in bar. I have the option to fly it with 1:1, but usu. fly 2:1, because: a) the bar pressure lets me know where the thing is w/out looking; b) the depower lets me ride safe (to a point); c) the kite turns faster (I think). The bad: a) complicated bar b)...

Do you really think we need so precise??!!! Nop! I think that the metal casing gauge that comes with the better pumps is accurate enough. As said above, the correct reading is just after a stroke. Have you tried them on beach? No, I haven't. The most accurate I've seen was the pump from the Waroo P...

Well, Calamalka, I bought it "kite only".
As I stated on the first post, I fly the Torque with a 24 inch Turbo-diesel pulley bar, 27 m lines.

Now that I have logged more than a dozen sessions on the Torque 10, I have this to say: The turning is still somewhat weird for me, coming from a C background, but I have found that the other bow pilots find the turning acceptable, only that it does not turn on its axis, rather a curve turning bow. ...
