Re: Puerto Rico and Holbox travel

Holbox is a 3 hour drive from Cancun. You might want to consider Cozumel. The surfing is OK, but the kite boarding is great. I can get you a deluxe house on the beach at the Country Club that will sleep up to 15. Kite right out front. Lots of other rental options. 5 minutes from the airport and town...

1/2 PRICE COZUMEL

It's too cold to kite so head to Cozumel. I'm usually booked this time of year, but I have a rare December 8-15th week still available. Regular price is $900 per week. Will discount at $450.00 for this week. Beautiful one bedroom third floor penthouse overlooking the Country Club kiting beach. Ideal...

Colin, Cozumel, Mexico has everything you are looking for. It is a great spot to take the wife. The Country Club area is some of the nicest kiting on the island. Very kite friendly spot for both beginners and experienced. Side shore wind and warm crystal blue Caribbean water. First Choice Airline ar...

One of the best sites for wind history is Weather Underground. http://www.wunderground.com You can enter site and find history for wind by day, week or month and go back several years on an easy to read bar graph. Most sites are the local airport, which may not be accurate for the beach. i.e. the Co...

small kites...I'm at 195 lbs. When I arrived my smallest was 12M. Rode a 9M and could have used a 7M a few times. Ride Woodman's Point, just south of Perth and get to Monkey Mia, about 8 hours north. Some spots on the way down to Margaret River (4 hours south). Respect the Surfers and stay away from...

I also have a NSI and have had it on 10+ trips on 4 different airlines with no questions. I find it is good to look like a golfer and not like a surf rat when you check-in. Check the airlines web site for new weight limits. They have reduced the limits because of the high cost of fuel. I have a nice...

Hatteras is exceptional in October. Especially the first 2 weeks in Oct. Very steady wind, still board shorts warm. Choose from Sound Side or Ocean. Often get some epic swells from the Caribbean hurricanes. Accommodations are cheap that time of year.
Enjoy.

Kite Perth

I was in Perth last year and kited Woodman's Point. Great spot. Scarborough Beach is also good for downwinders. 8 hours north of Perth is Monkey Mia. Everyone said it is one of the best places in OZ to kite and very pristine, no crowds. Dolphins will often come in close to shore and play with the sw...

A classic salesman training tip is that if you don't want to answer a question.....make a related statement that cannot be disputed.

When asked "what is in your 'golf' bag", you answer, "I'm going golfing".
