i have used the race bar and it definetly helps on the water, i found i can handle stronger winds because you can lock out against the kite. The quality of the ozone race bar is superb, nice and easy to adjust and locks off with no slipping.

The boards that were mainly used were the 2012 north race board, a couple of rrd race boards and a flysurfer race board. The uk scene is mainly dominated by north!

In the uk our first 2 national rounds are at the beginning of april! After that we have the finals in october. We do not have production boards ready available yet. Bummer...

Everything seems to be gearing up now and race seasons are starting but...
It seems the availability of the latest race boards is quite hard to come by, here in the uk anyway.
What production boards are out in your countries?

what happened with me was basically I was riding a 14m kite, I am a small guy but most other people rode 16, 18 or 21m kites, I could go upwind fine on my own CR board but when racing people would slowly speed away from me so I had a quick go on Damiens slalom board and was blown away by how fast it...

Lots of racing got done yesterday, some crazy stuff as well. Normal slalom you have 4 riders ast a time racing, most of our races yesterday were 8 man heats!
