Re: Kiting above 28 kts. proposed to be banned in Belgium

This proposal in Belgium is completely ridiculous, some busybody in Brussells no doubt. How would any new sport progress or have its boundaries explored if limits like this were placed on it. Good job the Belgiums dont get big waves or else there would be limit on that too. Here's hoping the madness...

Re: Advice for a waveboard

Hi,

Do you know what part of Korea you will be based in?

I am also going in August for at least one year. I am currently looking at bringing my kite gear.

Regards :)

Re: North Vegas & Rebel 2011

Good to see that North have moved away from the swept leading edge on the Vegas. I couldn't see the point given the target rider is presumably looking for a dedicated C kite. Re: valves keep falling off

One pump kite set ups and bladders just make the problem worse when valves do have problems. Lets go back to kites with no one pump and get them with good bladders in them!! Some kite companies still sell kites without 'one pump', so the option is still there if that's your preference. Personally I...

Re: valves keep falling off

I have friends with Air cond at home and they don't experience the same problem. Hi, I think the above might be a good point, maybe it has something to do with where some of you are storing your kites. I have had this valve peeling problem before and i'm based in Ireland (hardly a warm country), ho...

Re: 2011 Gear

There have already been photos posted of some new prototype North kites.

From what I remember the 2010 North kites were released last year round the end of August / early Sept.

Re: worst salesman ever

:nono: :nono: :) Its funny, but you would think things are as black and white as they look on that thread but there's always an angle. First thing I thought is that the 'supposed salesrep' set the product up to take a fall, maybe he works for a rival company making a similar product. I saw someone m...

Re: stop using you tube please...

Youtube has been banned in many countries, is very slow compared to vimeo and is very often not accessible from kiteforum (at lest for me). So we (you) should use vimeo instead of youtube... good wind to every one Have to agree with the above poster. This isn't about which is better Vimeo or Youtub...
