Re: The One

Thanks. That sounds great. I'm not too fussed about the jumping side of things. It would be nice but the wave riding and turning speed are my priority.

Re: The One

I am also interested in this kite. In particular the 12m. I've not had much fun riding waves strapless and flying 12m kites in light-ish winds and cross on conditions. If the 12m really does turn like most 9m's then this could change things. Has anyone tried the 12m in waves?

Thanks for that. I only ride strapless so that is no problem.

I really like the look of the firewire boards. The 'kitesurf' dominator model looks interesting. I will be watching the other thread about the broken board closely to see how good the companies warranty procedure is.

Re: Can a 'Kite' Surfboard be used for normal surfing?

Thanks for the reply. This is why I was particularly interested in surfboards manufactured by kitesurf companies as I've ridden a few of my old surfboards and experienced exactly that problem - they didn't last long! I was patching them up most weeks. One had a nasty encounter with my spreader bar a...

Can a 'Kite' Surfboard be used for normal surfing?

Hi all, I surf and moved across to kitesurfing with a surfboard about 2 years ago. I currently surf with a mixture of twin fins and thrusters which are 6ft to 6ft 6" long and all are 20" or more wide and 2.5 to 3" thick. I'm 80-85kg. My current kite surfboard is 5ft 10" and 17" wide. There is no way...

I really like the look of these and ordered one yesterday.

Do you find it makes it easier to go upwind or no real difference?

Re: Nemesis HP '09 vs. Rise Venturi '09

I've ridden the 10m rise 09 and the 10m Nemi HP 09 back to back on the same day in the same winds (approx 20-25mph, 4-5ft waves). I own both and wanted to decide which one to keep. They really are quite different kites. In summary I found the Rise more on off on the power / depower. This is easy to ...

Re: Best kiteboarding - Stop Spamming Me!!!!!

Is this post for real? For the amount of time you've spent posting on the forum you could have contacted them and ask them to remove you. I know you shouldn't have to do this but what a lot of hot air. I receive numerous emails from companies that I once subscribed to and have consequently unsubcrib...
