Re: The handle-board stiffener thingy actually works!

I believe you that board handle works because I have seen it happening from the opposite side of view: I have broken 3 plastic handles during strong kiteloop sessions with some really hard landing. The only reasonable explanation is that the boards has enough flex and structural strength to absorb t...

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

One more warning about them, I have bought 2 times from them not having any problem but the third time I decided to buy from them it was a big disaster and tragedy for me. After almost 2 months of wait and not being able able to properly contact with them, I had to take another TT kiteboard than the...

Re: Insane kiteloop on short lines @Harlem Kitesurfing

Nice one!!! Low kiteloops on short line are a dream when succeful but there is a really thin line between success and failure (crashing the kite and fly like a superman towards the water, which in these speeds acts more like concrete rather than a liquid). So thumbs up for those who have the balls t...

Re: What am I doing wrong and I keep breaking my TT boards?

In engineering terms you increased the impact rather than reduced it. The impact forces will be a function of the de acceleration, the quicker you stop the higher the force. Might be a good idea to research the mind set of the Kota guys with respect to their attitude to hot landings. My undercarria...

Re: What am I doing wrong and I keep breaking my TT boards?

Maybe time to get a custom board. Get one made stronger to suit your style. I agree with others, Wood core is the go. For really robust look at bamboo, that can take a beating. I would also add, rocker to the board, that will dissipate the load on landing better. Why not carbon? I thought that carb...

Re: What am I doing wrong and I keep breaking my TT boards?

From the pic I can see it is a wood core board. Probably a fairly light layup so its not a knee buster. So Boom no strength except the wood and there ya go. Wood is good but not a cure all. Yes it is a wood core, not very thin either and a bit heavy I could say, it has less flex than my previous bo...

What am I doing wrong and I keep breaking my TT boards?

Ok maybe equipment failures can be considered normal in an extreme sport with huge powers involved. I can understand as normal that my first boards 2002 and 2005 models broke after a while as they had some kind of foam core inside which meant that they could not stand much of abuse and hot landings....

Re: Airush - Any recommendations about the products?

I can only comment for the kiteboards and I have owned 4 Airush TT boards and 6 TT boards from other copmpanies through the years and I can say that the Airush boards are very very durable and can handle a lot of abuse, and they are also well designed and the models I owned ticked many boxes for all...

Re: I need help / advice for naish pivot 2018

thanks alot, spot on advises man, I asked Naish Greece to sent me a new line and the new line organizer for free to replace the old (the exact 2 that your photos show) but they only sent me a new front line for free, so I guess I can spent an extra 25euro if the 2019/2020 line organizer is not damag...

I need help / advice for naish pivot 2018

I have recently purchased a brand new Pivot 10m 2018 model and I had 6 sessions with the kite, I am generally happy with the kite and the way it flies and performs, but I have some issues and I want to know what other users of the 2018 Naish pivot think about these issues. 1) I am coming from C-kite...
