Re: Best introduces lifetime warranty

Wow, harsh words and some really stupid. In North America we typically see the new products come out in the middle of the winter. Occasionaly I buy new gear hoping I can use it on a winter vacation. Sometimes the gear needs a few sessions before a warranty issue may appear. It's nice to know if I bu...

Hey FYI, a guy named George whos a local instructor here on Cape Cod and is French typically chases the wind in Anguilla and St.Martin. He charters large Catamarans and or mono hulls. Check out www.go3flow.com he will offer two trips this year. Personally I'm hoping to get to Anguilla and visit fami...

Trying to be a hero and do big kite loops. I was riding my 10m NXG and it was blowing about 25-30, I looped and the kite, it then came through the window very fast; the kite was at or about my elevation or below. When the kite ascended I found my face between it and zenith, the bar end clocked me re...

Re: Cancun

Hi there, bring your big and medium kite. I was there in April and got one day out of four. I stayed at a swanky resort, Silversands with my wife who was attending a office perk. It was half way between Playa del Carmen and Cancun, I saw only one other kiter. My friend who was there the year before ...

Re: Whats the stupidest kiting thing yourve done?

Way back around 2004 or so, I had my Slingshot 10m and was self launching on a crowded beach. Fortunately I was behind the crowds. I picked up the bar upside down and launched the kite. I pulled left, it went right, looped several times. Back then I was using the wrist leash and a pulley bar, the ki...

Re: New Bladder Burst..

If the hole in the bladder is close to the end of the kite; try pulling out the bladder from that end. You can tie a simple overhand knot with the bladder. Only pull out enough to tie a knot beyond the hole. This technique worked for me several times before. A knot is better than trying to fix it wi...

Heres one I did last night. Filmed with the Gopro and edited with Adobe Premeire Elements. Sorry Santana, I don't mean to rip you off! There are a few others on YouTube. I'm no pro, and even worse at video editing, you have been warned! http://youtu.be/u3jYV3WOY_4 Oh yeah, vid captured on Cape Cod, ...

Re: Nemesis HP V3 ? anyone tried it

This is just my preliminary review and more like an experiencial synopsis than a proper review. I still need more time on them. That said I've flown the 10 on several occasions and I'm convinced its the big air machine I was hoping for, a totally sick kite. If your looking for a review from the ding...

Re: Eletric Kite Inflation

Hey, I didnt read the entire thread, sorry if this has been covered. Anyway, my two cents, no compressor or tank is worth the money. I suggest people get a 110v converter put in their car or truck. I had the Tacoma Sport with the stock built in converter for power tools. There were two settings for ...

Re: This is calling for a ban...

Not St.Barts. On Barts the planes fly in overland and hopefully stop at the end of the runway before going into the ocean. St.Barts has one of the scariest landings strips of any airport; with no planes bigger than something half that size.
