The Basics

Rightio this is my first time on this message board (normally on the kiteboarding one). I'm now land-locked so kiteboarding is no longer an option for me. Luckily however at my new location I've got plenty of snow and I want to get some basics sorted. Launching (both self and assisted) - With or wit...

Gybing a skim is a freaking nightmare though; cos most don't have rocker or much going through rail to rail they want to slide out all the time. After water starting this will be your next challange. The technique I use is bear off the wind so the board is completely flat (so it's more stable), then...

Also will I need my wetsuit? Any insider information would be appreciated. Lastly cheap accomodation would help also...

I know one guy who is so old fashioned that all he flies are pulley bars and he's so old fashioned that he even kites while wearing a tophat. The pulley bar never went out of style; when the chicken loop came along style just went out of kiting. Fixed bars forever and take your fucking straps off H...

Groovy board; you say it's travel but what size is it? Also why thruster and not quad?

Also no price included; is it free?

Peace

I actually prefer my nobile skim, which is a directional of sorts, to my Recoil. Although it's a bugger to gype.

Mashed up 9 & 10 last week. Spreader bar did the damage. No pain no gain.

The solution is simple either become a dingle dangle rider or wear a seat harness.......neither is going to happen to better get used to busted ribs.
