I can attest to that, I was a beginner.......I was inverting my bow all the time not just once or twice but to the point to where I wanted my money back............but now a after having progressed and understanding the power of the kite better....I haven't inverted in my last 3 sessions.

sometimes I also pull one back line in a couple of feet and pull the centre lines.........but again if the wind is strong enough to ride you will get it out, if it isn't you won't

grab the two centre lines at the neoprene cover of the cas and pull them towards you ....this will help pull the kite edge more forward so wind can get under ......alot of times it feels like the kite will launch.....but then when you let go it comes back down.....guess what....not enough wind. spen...

solsoler................I weigh 150....have the contra 14.....and can ride my custom 133 as soon as the kite can fly..........make your judgements from that I am sure the 14 and 138 would work for your weight.... get the 14 contra try with your custom 133 ....if it doesn't work get a slightly bigger...

I thought I needed a ligtwind board till I discovered my cabrinha 133 custom combined with a 14 contra took me down to 6 knots staying upwind in 8 knots plus.(I am68 kg).......so if your looking for a very agile board that planes early try the custom maybe even the 138.the board is 39 wide the board...

I started last year and went for a 133 board......which was the size of my wakeboard....have never looked back. Couldn't imagine riding a bigger board ...less manouverable etc...... one thing which isn't often talked about for beginners is wether they have board skills or not....snowboarding surfing...

I am also 150...and have a cabrinha custom 133...its awsome..... example with my 14 contra I can ride from 6-24 knots it cuts the chop , very smooth riding and you can dig in as much as you want, no splashing water or board digging ....it also manouvers like my wake board....very agile does anything...
