Do the people having problems experience these issues with other web sites ?

I see no difference in the speed of Kiteforum as compared to any other web site I go to. Everything loads quickly for me on an old AMD 1200 Mhz system and a cable modem.

I can understand why Toby would do this. Allowing a kite company to conduct a contest, which is basically part of an advertising campaign, for free will reduce or diminish the value of paid advertising on this site. Why should sponsors pay for ads when someone else can post them for free ? To allow ...

I've got a Flexifoil ION with a one pump system. I have not had any problems yet. I would, however, be extremely disappointed if kite performance was sacrificed for the addition of this feature. It makes no sense to install something that saves just a few minutes of setup time but permanently reduce...

I would be worried about being struck by lightning. Flying a kite in a storm is just asking for it.

For your first power kite, go for something small (less than 3m) with four lines and use handles instead of a bar. The handles will teach you much more about how four lines make a kite fly. In general, a 12m kitesurf kite is a good size to start with. To learn to kitesurf, you need to take lessons t...

Considering the newer quick release devices that are now available on some kites, I think using a release of this type is no longer necessary and involves unnecessary risk. I have not used the Slingshot system that was mentioned, but the stock quick release on my Flexifoil Ion setup is awesome. It s...

Take a look at upwind performance. I've heard the "Speed" foils outperform inflatables by a long shot. This should say something about aerodynamic efficiency.

This is a good place to buy Gath helmets. You may want to email them to ask if they will ship to Spain.
