importing gear to USA

Hey guys,

I want to order some gear from some european shops. do any of you know the customs policies for bringing in gear to the USA? is there a free allowance? what's the import tax rate? would like to bring in kites and a board.

I think only when have the ids engaged, which you shouldn't need too often. the bridles are a little long for my taste but i think overall they will give you less trouble than the 5th line, especially if you roll the kite through it's lines (which happens fairly frequently when your beginning)... i'...

dude, from as far back as I can remember, the vegas was always able to fly on 4 lines. The designers make sure that you can, you just wont get a 5th line or front line safety.... suicide baby!

also, don't forget that you lose a lot of pressure once your kite hits the water from temperature difference...

you do know that you can move the north depower cleat to any length you want, right...
