Got sick of using wax too, switched to a Dakine Longboard Pad in the front. Works like a charm! It's thin, so it doesn't absorb much water. Can paddle surf it too with a rashy or thin wetsuit top on.

I was there today... still shaken up from the incident. I hope "K" will be OK. He is still in the hospital and we are waiting for an update on his condition. Before the squall line moved in, there was one other kiter out with him and they were attempting to get back on the beach and land their kites...

any experiences with the 13m Rev? compared to equally sized havocs and instincts. Have a 9m and 13m Rev... Love both of them.
