Re: F- One Bandit no quality

that kite didn't do that all on its own. Most likely you crashed the shit out of it, repeatedly. Kites are not made out of steel. If you do tricks and crash the hell out of your kite, expect to replace them early. Or go on a forum and whine about it like a little bitch. Big difference between use an...

Chinese Canopies?

What's your experience so far with the new Chinese material? Just repaired my first one, (last years Cabrinha) and it was shredded instead of the usual straight tear. I know Cab switched over to the presumably cheaper cloth (two years ago?) and many seem to be following suit. Best I think has, who e...

Re: Kiter Vs Fisherman

it is no ones fault but the person attached to the out of control kite who failed to use their leash system to disable it, or do it by hand in the immense amount of time there was to take care of that before screwing up other peoples day. DITTO!!!!! hANDLE IT YOURSELF DUDE! INSTEAD OF DEPENDING ON ...

Re: Kiter Vs Fisherman

In all fairness to the green kiter, (that appears to be a girl), it looks like the Cab guy simply had his kite down, but under control, when the green kiter exited the area with what would otherwise been an bad place to be with an unsecured kite. Out of frame the fisherman seemed to be helping grab ...

Re: 15.1 wipika amp ideas

15.1 is the PROJECTED size. the size of the shadow the kite would cast when inflated. To get the Square Meter size,(that EVERYONE else has always used) add about 1/3 of the wipi size back in. tHAT BE A 20 METER KITE, BRADDAH! :jump: :naughty: :cool2:

Re: 15.1 wipika amp ideas

I worked at Wipi in those days and there was no 15.1 m amp in the lineup, that I can remember. Where did you get that number? The 11.8 was actually close to a 16m kite as we used a "projected" size number, (think shadow size). The next size up was 13. something and was a little over 18m flat. If you...
