Re: Large kite bag for all extra gear

This bag is great! Had it for 5 years and it is still going strong. Light weight and plenty big enough for everything on you list and more.

Re: New to Sport, Should i buy this one?

No......but if you if you do buy it $100 US would be the most I would risk. Then expect to spend some more $$?? to fix bladder, bar and bridle problems. Have you seen this kite in action? Will you be buying it from a trusted individual? Also, unfortunately for your wallet, it is never a good time to...

Re: Help switching Feet on Surfboard Before I Turn.

This is what works for me: if i am moving from left to right with my right foot forward and i want to get my left foot forward prior to the jibe i carve the board slightly upwind then initiate the move with my shoulders. After i turn my shoulders into the wind my feet are a fraction of a second behi...

Re: We just lost over half of our kite boarding area thanks

I just read the legislation (not sure if it is the most current version but I did get it from the .gov website?) Re: Whats your stupid story?

Out with my new (at that time) FS Speed 3 (19) and the wind picked up to ~17kts, way overpowered so I head in to switch out kites. A non-kiter offered to help me land the kite but I stupidly turned down the offer and elected to release the kite to FLS (with kite at zenith)......bad idea!! Fortunatel...

Re: Directional board start advice

I grab the board (upwind edge) with what will become my backhand (just forward of the stomp pad) then rest my heels on the board. Front heel in the center, back heel just in front of the hand holding the board. Then send the kite with your front hand and let the kite pull you up onto the board and r...

Re: Need advice on staying upwind in moderate wind

Not sure if your local spot is a good set up for 'downwinders' but as contrary as it might seem it will take your mind off staying up wind or holding ground. Then you will relax, have fun and learn to finesse your gear based on conditions. Practice practice practice. Lots of good advice in some of t...
