Thanks for the replies. The wind forecast doesn't look so great for the rest of the week, but hopefully that will change.

I'm heading to Oahu for two weeks after a long 5 years and hoping to get some kiting in. Last time I was there I kited exclusively at Kailua. Anywhere else to kite or suggestions?

Also, it looks like there was some drama at Kailua regarding banning kite instruction. Status?

My family and I are vacationing in Phuket from mid june to early July. Is there any kiting there this time of year? Does it make sense to drag my gear along?

So, as I understand it, you push just enough of the excess bladder material up into the strut sleeve so that the end of the bladder is level with the end of the unfolded (open) strut sleeve. Then you fold the strut sleeve closed. So, in the end, the folded strut sleeve has the folded bladder materia...
