Re: Have lei kites gotten any better in the last 6 years?

I think the main improvements have been in the lightwind area, using better lighter materials to improve the low end wind range, but it's always tradeoffs. I only fly foils but have always been impressed by the lightwind abilities of the 19m core kites. They are usually the last LEIs still in the ai...

Re: Who knows of a harness that will pack flat?

I use the dakine nitrous when traveling, if your ok riding with a seat harness they are super comfy and don't take up a lot of space.

Re: Foil SUP

I cannot in good conscience recommend that Foil. It has sharp edges, winglets and a pointy nose, plus one of these has put someone is hospital here, and as a result has poisoned the local SUP community against SUP Foiling. Also the board has the Deep KF box, so if you wanted to try an actual safe a...

Re: Foil SUP

A kitefoil isn't going to work in the sup , the front blade isn't big enough Sure about that ? Average sizing maybe (whatever that is ha haa) too small yes. But some standard kitefoil wings are almost 900 cm2, THAT is big :thumb: 8) PF It is not just the general size that makes a good SUP Foil. If ...

Re: Peter lynn aero

I have a 9m, have not had much wind or it has been too stormy with our main riding spot melting out already (two months earlier than normal, last year this time we were getting 30" powder dumps) so haven't had a real day to test it yet. Hopefully will get it out at one of the higher elevation spots ...

Bump, has battens on the leading edge, d ribs, h ribs, and a ton of cells. That 20m ultralight looks sweet.

Re: Best Way to Fly with Gear in 2017

When you have a golf bag do you book it on as clubs? i.e do they check / care that it isn't actually clubs? On Southwest I usually check it as a snowboard. I mostly fly with my gear during the winter months between Denver and Ft Lauderdale so there are tons of boards and skiis and they usually don'...
