I'm requesting pointers on where to set my bindings on my wake, how far apart, how close to the heel-side rail for better edging, etc. Please consider that 1. I've never ridden a wakeboard. 2. Normal conditions here mean that I'll be riding in moderate chop, never flat water. ...ride on -highroller

One good thing about PR's relatively constant weather conditions is how it allows novice riders, like me, to progress very rapidly. The best thing is the friendly local crew at ocean park beach.

As a health care professional I don't see any reason why NOT to wear a helmet when unsing a board leash, especially in heavy surf. I use one. In fact, I'm the only one using one where I kite and it puzzles me when guys ask me why.

I have a Naish 13.5 AR5 and a Slingshot Fuel Houndred, 10.0. They both work nicely for me no matter what the situation. I ride a 215cm directional, by the way.

I don't know about thermical winds either but PR is indeed a relatively small island ,100 x 35 miles, albeit not as small as Antigua. A good source for weather info is the NWS weather site http://www.weather.gov . Go to the state weather, click Puerto Rico, and then on the text version link. <font s...
