I can't remember if the cloth was 4oz or 6oz and if it was E or S glass. I'd probably go for the 4oz s glass on both sides of the board.

The epoxy will yellow due the UV exposure. But putting a spar varnish (with UV inhibitors) on top with stop (or slow) the yellowing.

The yellowing does take quite a bit of UV exposure. If you don't leave your board cooking in the sun every day all day.. you shouldn't have that much of a issue.

That is what I have done. 1/4 baltic birch ply with 4oz fiberglass sheet with epoxy on the bottom. Super flexy but I haven't managed to break it. Good lightwind board.

What about anini beach on the north end? I camped there a several years ago and went windsurfing. All waves broke farther out and (if I remember right) it was pretty flat close to shore. Great camping spot also!
