Re: King kevin Fuckwad is at it again

I have mixed feelings about this thread, his accident was awfull and scary, I shit myself when I saw it the first time, now his interview does not make any sense, it is either that 1) he is really stupid, 2) he became stupid from the hit on his head, 3) he has not yet fully understood or grasped wha...

Re: WHAT WENT WRONG? Ft. Lauderdale Lofting Summary

This started as a serious thread and has become a joke!... In my opinion, in bad conditions I would keep the kite as low to the ground as possible until somebody catches it, I would never keep it at at 12 in bad conditions.. in normal conditions, stable and none gusty then it is OK for me to keep it...

Re: Naish 2009 Cult Website On-Line

Tautologies, Thank for the answer. A 10.5 Cult instead of a 12 Torch is a good idea but I am afraid I will loose a bit of low end and my quiver will be 9m and 10.5 m Cult I don't think this would cover more windrange than a 9 and 12m, although I have not been kiting in less than 15knots for some tim...

Re: Fixing a broken strap insert?

Peter So my inserts have a base that is still in the board! I thought I seen something metallic there but I did not know it was attached to the part that came out, this makes more sense to me now, and more complications :) . I used tube Epoxy, I thought it was crap but I don't have access to real li...

I am thinking of getting a new 12m as my Torch07 is almost dead. I have a 9m Cult and I love it. The question is: is there a big difference between the 08 and the 09 Cults 12m because obviously I can get a better deal on the 08.?

Thx.

Re: Fixing a broken strap insert?

[quote="tungsten222"]I'd use different inserts made for this purpose, with a bigger surface, properly epoxy'd in, mix resin with chopped glass, cover with glass... should do the job. I've never seen your type of "inserts" used in a board to be honest. Would not call them inserts at all. Check here f...

Re: Fixing a broken strap insert?

Used epoxy, the strap held up for half an hour and came out again, I guess it needs a porfessional work to be done.... any suggestions?
