Re: Turks and Caicos Boat Trip Partners Needed

Not sure how that would work. I think you could bring you wife along, I'm sure they would charge something for her and maybe the kids if there was room but if you are serious maybe it would be best to contact Big Blue or Kiteprovo and ask yourself. There are others not so kite oriented operations th...

Anyone interested in partnering up for boat trips to the backcountry between 11/27 and 12/8. Slicks or downwinders?

Re: Intermediate kiter, ready to buy a new 10m, thoughts?

Look for a closeout air rush lithium. Easy kite to fly, good range, boosts easily, self launch and land no problem and relaunches effortlessly. Perfect kite to start out with and unless you're the unhooking type you won't outgrow it. I use it in the waves and it's awesome too.

Re: High Y vs Low V bars

Low Ys seem to be much more suitable to self landing than high Ys. Also I have noticed than some kites with a high Y don't sit on the ground when tethered to an anchor as quietly as a low y kite.

Re: Cabrinha, Airush or Liquid Force for first kite?

I have had Lithium's for years as well as many other brands. I think this type of kite is great for a beginner because it relaunchs easily, is fairly stable, turns wuci but not squirrelly, has great low end power and when you get better self launches and lands beautifully. Many people think it's a b...

Re: Amundson JohnO or PRO X

Hey Matt. We met at KP (obx) last Fall. You kindly gave me a new style hose for my WMFG pump. I recall you had a cool looking Amundson board on the beach, might have been a JohnO. Thanks for the review, helpful.

Amundson JohnO or PRO X

Has any one tried one of these boards recently? Any reviews? Ride in chop and upwind ability? Thanks.
