Re: Stainless steel pins used in leash quick release

faklord: thank you for your research on this. I'm trying to modify an existing bar in a way similar to the BRM bar to use in very light winds with my Cloud D (I want to set it up permanently with 30m lines) - getting info on the release pins has been a mare. The terminal eye idea did come to mind, b...

Re: Shinn P Foil Mast - Compatibility with other brands

Big shout out to Mark Shinn for his help. I've been living on Grand Cayman for the best part of 8 years and I'd say that i know the waters around here pretty well now. I have no doubt that in a few weeks time the 90cm mast will be the weapon of choice. The problem is getting past the first few weeks...

Shinn P Foil Mast - Compatibility with other brands

I'm new to foiling and yet to actually take to the water Background : have purchased P foil and 90cm mast. However, my friend's recent experience tells me that I should have gone for the 60cm mast. I live in the Cayman Islands and the water is not very deep where we kite. It's also nigh on impossibl...

Re: Is Shinn going to produce his own foil?

Question - I've been kiting since 2002, but this is going to be my first foray in to flying. Which board have people gone with the 145 or 120?

Have fun - if kiting from any of the beaches on Tortola itself seek out a local for advice first

Re: Naish Forum Chat! Ask all your Naish 2014 questions here

Why not be the first brand to develop a releasable micro loop that can be retro fitted to existing Naish bars - not all of your customers are into wakestyle or surf, some of us just want to jump high with Airstyle! 8)

Re: Micro loop question

Sounds like it's time for someone to innovate and come up with a releasable mini loop that can be retro fitted to any bar without drilling or having to replace parts - that way maybe we will see Airstyle take off (no pun intended - well OK, maybe just a small one :D) - any takers anyone?

Re: Micro loop question

Thanks Caesar - I assume you drilled the bar to accept the Mico hook, so can anyone confirm if this will adversely affect the strength of the bar? I don't want to do this and then find that my bar snaps! Can someone also confirm whether or not I have to buy the North quick release? Finally, as North...

Re: Micro loop question

I'm looking to go air style, jumping high was one of the main attractions for me back when. However, I do not ride North kites nor North bars, and so I am troubled by how to set about converting my bars (Naish & Blade) for a micro loop. I will defo not go down the windsurfing loop route, as way too ...
