Re: Ocean Rodeo Mako Size Recommendation

If I were buying a conventional twin-tip, I would get something around 137cm, but the Mako is a different beast. You are correct. I own 2 Mako's (165 and 150), and the 150 is a power-hungry board. I think surfinsmiley hit the nail on the head. For your weight, go with the 150 for typical riding. If...

Ocean Rodeo single concave vs. double concave boards

I have ridden Mako single concave boards since 2006 and now I also have a Core Fusion 2 board that has a double concave bottom. I had both boards out yesterday in choppy conditions and both boards were fine. The Mako board that I had out was my Mako original skinny from 2006. I nearly never ride thi...

Re: WMFG Big Pump - does it work with 2016- North kites and Core kites?

Works fine with Core XR 3-4-5 .... Hey Windybrit. Noticing that you have XR kites. I have two questions. I have a 12M XR3 coming from a Core GT. Do you think that the XR5 is dramatically better in the freeride and boosting department than the XR3? My next kite scheduled for replacement is my 7M GTS...

I can only say nobody should fill out that form! That way my chances to win a free kite for myself and my buddy are greatly enhanced. :thumb:

Concept-X boards

http://www.conceptxsports.de/article_en/16/1

I was looking for a reasonable quality twin tip at a reasonable price. Has anyone experience with Concept_X boards? I want a travel board and my Mako series are just too long to conveniently travel with. I want something like a 139 X 42.
