Re: EpicKites 4G

Just received my new 4G bar the other day. Thought I would post some of my observations although I have yet to use it on the water. My previous bar was an Epic 3G so all comparisons are to that bar. Lines have been changed and are no longer the white ones that the 3G had. I personally never liked th...

Re: Can't get out of my oneil non zip wetsuit!!

I just tried one of these on recently at a surf shop. I spent close to 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get out of the thing in the dressing room. To add to the fun I have a bad shoulder which has limited mobility. Thought I was going to have to get help from the sales guy. Eventually w...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Hey Dimitri, your new video Epic Attack 4 really kicks ass! When I see your videos I always wonder how the hell that guy can have such precision while jumping and landing on piers and other stuff! What´s the secret, years of practice? And do you never slam into those objects that you plan to land o...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Hello aleks , I can see you are having problems self landing your kite. Ok these are few ways you can do it: 1) Bring your kite down to the ground and then once the wing tip touches the ground pull the RED GRAB HANDLE that is on the left floater. This will flag the kite. It might get messy but at l...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Here is my list for the 10m LTD: Make it less powerful Turn slower Less hang time Relaunch easier Self inflating Crash proof Change the color to neon pink and green.  The kite is amazing as is. Don't turn it into just another wimpy kite. For advanced riders this kite is pretty much right ...

Re: Best Upwind? Renegade, Kahoona, or Element?

Lots of people do not live in a place where they have the option to test anything other than the few kites and boards their close friends are riding. Great advise to recommend that a new kiter try everything before they buy anything, it is just not realistic for so many people. Lots of new kiters e...

Re: Best Upwind? Renegade, Kahoona, or Element?

I can only give you my 2 cents on the Renegade. I have the latest version of the 9m and so far I am enjoying it. I use it for mostly wave riding and can testify that it sits a little more forward in the window which is good for upwind. Honestly I was surprised how far forward it was compared to my 2...

Yep, I was shocked when I saw Matt earlier this winter with no hair. Still not used to him having short hair. He looks like a clean cut, respectable doctor now.

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Dimitri I thought you got hurt again in the Caymans based on that first picture. Then I realized that is not a current picture from the Caymans. Wasn't that one last year in Aruba? 8)
