Re: RRD Religion V 2015 compared to IV 2014? Better?

I've only used the 2015 8m2 extensively so far but the bottom end seems to have improved significantly. When I would normally be reaching for the 10.5m2, I'm still quite happy on the 8m2....so much so, I haven't used the 10!!!!

Otherwise, seems very similar - smooth, fast turning, etc.

Re: RRD Religion 2013/2014

Think you need to chill a bit man. There's no bias here. I'm not affiliated to anyone expect my own love of the sport and I've kited for a very long time on a shit load of kit. The 2014 Religion's a very good wave kite in my opinion. There isn't too much difference between 2013/2014 but incremental ...

Re: RRD Religion 2013/2014

I've had the new 10.5m2 and 7m2 Religion's for about a month and having had the last 3 versions, must say that this years are excellent in every respect. I was initially worried in selecting a 10.5m2 as whilst gaining slightly on the lower end, previously the bigger sizes have not been as quick to t...

Re: Fuerteventura Questions

Daniel, There are buses but you really need to rent a car to make the most of it - you'll be stood at the roadside for most of the day otherwise!!! I was there a few weeks ago and Flag is good if you like flatwater/small wave stuff. Cotillo is beautiful beach with some nice waves when I was there. A...

Re: Ever get tangled up with another kite?

Thanks for your sympathy Richard - I like to see you take every word to heart and have obviously never dropped a kite in your life. I'm simply saying that we all make mistakes, how ever experienced and there is no excuse for cutting someone's else's lines. It's just pure aggression which I've never ...

Re: Ever get tangled up with another kite?

Just to add a little recent experience into the mix. I've just got back from Fuerteventura where we had a fantastic week of good winds and some small swell. Riding strapless on a 10m2 day at lower Flag beach, all is looking good, until I bottom turn into a pitching lip and get all munched up off the...

Re: Eclipse Surge

An obvious question to Felix is how the new Surge improves on the Generator in which he had such a hand in making a great kite. They look very similiar but I would hope the Surge is even better. I've been riding the Generator for the past 12 months and they are awesome in their correct windrange, be...

Re: I joined the generator death cult the other day

Not the right section I know, but given the scarcity to be forgiven, if any of you guys are looking for '08 Generator's, I have a 9.5m2 and 7.5m2 for sale in the UK. Given the state of the good old British pound they would be a very good deal for someone.Hardly used and complete. Give me a PM if int...

You've got the bar set up wrong. On both my 12m2 and 9m2 it has taken a few sessions of moving the depower lines to find the sweet spot - now I have the bar works great. If you play with the 5th line on the double de-power so it only starts to apply pressure on the leading edge when nearing the end ...

Naish SS Custom Wave Boards

I am told the 2007 waveboards are due to be delivered in the next few days in the UK. Has anyone had any experience of the 5'10" thruster or 5'4" quad fin. Theres no real information on how specific boards perform beyond the blurb on the website which is pretty general. I understand that the 5'4" is...
