RBkite, Your back lines need to be closest to the trailling edge. The wider the wind tip, the faster a kite will turn. Sound like from your description you had it on slow speed. I would say the back lines need to be closest to the back or trailling edge of the kite. We have been told the front lines...

Thanks Dave, That is just what I wanted to hear. I hated the slow turning and strong down wind pull of the 04. But if my legs were fresh is was a nice kite. What about the 15m, would it be much faster? Maybe just forget about the really light wind? I plan on replacing my 13m with a 05 13m. I sold my...

Thanks Kenny, I'm replacing my 04 17m Fuel. I would just like to know that this one will be faster and jump as well. I don't care too much about the range, since I get bored when it gets too light and I'll switch to my 13m as soon as I can. But if it is faster, then maybe I can have more fun in the ...

Machine 17.5m Preformance or Just get you out there?

I'm a long time fan of SS kite and boards. Trying to figure out what to ride this year. Just need to know is the Machine a light wind kite that get you out there in the light shit or does it jump and hang well. Does it jump better than the 04 Fuel 17m? Does it turn faster? I'm not interested in gett...

Ten4 Caution kites are not out of the picture. I know someone who rides for them and sells them up here. I want to have a look at the 142 board but will check out his kites. Have not seen a Caution kite for 3 years, I'm sure they have just gotten better. I'm just fan of my SS kites, I like the one p...

Dwight, Thanks for the info. North/Naish are supposed to have a Demo day next weekend at one of the local lakes. If the crap weather leaves, maybe I will get to test out a Vegas and Rhino and see what they are like. If the Vegas 16m has grunt like a SS 17m then I think I'll be happy. Walle, This is ...

Need 12-13m & 16-18m kite, SS or North or OR

I've sold my 2004 Fuel 13 & 17 to a friend, got to replace them. Keeping my 7m & 9m Fuels for another year. Been riding SS for a few years, like the bars and construction. I'm 190lbs dry and like to ride powered up and boost big. But also like good bottom end to get up and riding quick, not waiting ...

I have a 13M and 9M, will be getting a 19M next. 6 PSI is what SS says, I had some problems with my 13M, 2 repairs back to back, must have touch a barnicle on the beach and cut the LE first time. I was using 7-7.5 PSI, 6 PSI feels soft, but kite handles just fine. Because of the smaller struts, you ...

I have had a 13M and a 9M One Pump. Just got the 9M and have had the 13 for 8 months. I can go up wind down to 15Knots on my 141SX. I will be getting a 17 or 19 for this summer. I have replaced my LE bladder once and patched it 2 times. First time was a barnicle the second was 5 minutes after I got ...
