We are all different and some may find that they (like Toby) find everything ok with 1 direction.. For me I have to learn to do it both directions or I feel im a weaker kitesurfer for not challenging myself to improve.. so basically do what you find is ok for yourself.. kite and let live

There is another option in Thailand with light-medium winds till Sept/October in Rayong which has a small group of local Thai kiteboarders who were out there everyday when I was there last year.
