Well,I DO drop my kite! A lot! I am very clumsy.

One of the reasons I love my Bows,they just pop right up every time !
Then you'd love the vegas 07, and probably the 08 too. It does that exactly everytime :thumb:

No I am actually living in Barcelona. But I am originally from Annecy. I don't know about Silvaplana but annecy can be pretty good. Both on the lake and for snowkite

Thanks Skye10 but I already have a golf bag so I'll have to stick with it .. Matt, I am going to Elgouna 2nd and 3rd week of august. Flying first to El Cairo from Geneva and then to Hurghada. I am bringing 2 kites and 1 board(135) in a 140 board/golf bag. I might only bring my kites and rent a board...

Kite gear on Egyptair

I am off to Egypt soon flying with egypt air and I'm planning on bringing my gear with me, but Egypt air baggage regulations only allow 158 cm (height + length + width) which might cost me a lot in taxes to bring my board. Has anyone been able to fly his gear for free? By the way I have one of those...

How reliable is the wind in summer there? I thought it was very reliable but I've been checking the webcam http://www.kitepower-elgouna.com/webcam/webcam-archive/ and looks like there wasn't a lot of wind lately. Claire, It's going to be though to take lessons in Castelldefels now. It's forbidden to kite all summer until september. In case you book lessons later on make sure that you can postpone in case of lack of wind, I think escola Garbi has that option. If you can't wait till september the best is that ...

Thanks, I'll finally go to Safaga it is not that deserted for my wife so there's still something to do at night and I can go kiting at soma bay, it looks like a nice spot. Hopefully the wind will blow, 8)
